TEEVEENY KEY 2018 160 cm Grey Mare (IHR)

"Teeveeny Key (stable name Malibu) is a beautiful 4 year old 160cm mare. She was bought directly from her breeder, Michael Geary, who also bred her mother and grandmother and produced professionally. She is by the famous Irish Draught stallion Lock Key and out of a mare by OBOS Quality who needs no introduction. Malibu is bred to jump and she has proven to be a very exciting young horse. 

She started her career this year with a few fun rides over banks and drains where she proved to be steady and brave. She is always ridden in a snaffle. Malibu began her showjumping this year with clear rounds at 80 and 90cm. She is happily jumping courses of 1m at home with the potential to go a lot further. We took her to her first one day event at 90cm where she did a lovely dressage test and clear showjumping and cross country (see video) to finish 6th in a strong class of 40 competitors. 

She takes everything in her stride and has been produced carefully. She has a bright future ahead of her. She has a lovely temperament and isn’t marish. She is quiet to shoe, box, clip, ride and in traffic. She has a clean vet cert and x-rays."
